Crimson eyes widened at the shrill sound that just escaped the tiny human.
She sounded like…A toy! Would she do it again if he squished her in his jaws?
He was tempted, and her smell was even more enticing, and he was almost convinced she was a rawhide or something. A living, breathing chew toy!
The over-sized puppy stepped further, gulping down the apprehension that flustered his short attention span.
She balled her tiny porcelain fists, bracing herself for what was to become her soon-awaited fate. The curiosity and hunger that emitted out of the creatures wine-red eyes sent shivers down her spine, making her bones feel like an overly taut wire about to snap in half. The adolescent pulled her white gloves tighter around her hands, yanking them at the wrist in fear of losing them. She sought an absolution, gritting her perfectly-white fangs as the ground trembled below her, indicating the creature was stepping closer. If only that idiot hair and useless manservant of hers were here to unleash her ultimate powers, so she wouldn’t be caught amidst in this whole mess firstly.

“You stay away, you hear me?!”
Could this thing even comprehend the dry threats that were pouring out of her mouth in the first place? Her pride only shrugged off the sudden possibility. It was still worth a shot. If that creature even thought about taking a single step closer—
The lumbering canine bounded up to the long-haired girl, the ground trembling underneath them.
“Aruuff!!” He leaned in close, his huge, moist black nose merely inches from her face. The smell of meat wafting from her was making his mouth water.
Amethyst hues quickly averted from the strange… creature as she took slow, measured, and calculated steps backwards from the pleading red orbs and the snowy white mane. Her sense of equanimity began to falter, as she began to panic when the strange thing began breathing down her face, her strong persona ripping into petty shreds. Letting out a strange squeak of terror, the young girl fell down onto the hard ground below. She hissed at the thing, wondering why such a weird thing was prowling about in a place like this.

“What… are you?!”

This human has the smell of meat lingering about her. Mmm.

In which Alice doesn’t quite understand the hilarity reality of the situation
Holding hands like that made the two look like a fairly young - and normal - couple.
The little silly thought made the corners of his mouth form a slight - and discrete - smile of self awareness. He was there with her. He could touch her and feel her warmth. The warmth of Alice. His precious Alice.
Oz chuckled briefly when he saw Alice’s cute and moody expression. He could feel her anger fading little by little while they walked to find her precious meat.
“Forgive your servant, madam!”, bowing a little, Oz took her little and warm hand to his lips, giving a brief and formal kiss. “I won’t leave you alone ever again.”
Hunger was not something an adolescent like herself could easily cope with, and neither was being humiliated. That fair dust of pink soon deepened to a rich crimson as his soft lips brushed her white-gloved hand, taken aback at first at the sudden encounter. She was about to yank away for a second time, until a thought crossed her mind. He was her servant, was he not? He should be doing this all the time, yes? So why was she getting so flustered…?
A quick and final glance at her hand before turning to face his emerald eyes, trying to look as displeased as possible. It was quite the challenge though, considering Alice’s mind was afloat elsewhere, and she couldn’t help but feel somewhat giddy underneath all her staged anger.

“Yeah, that’s right! Beg for forgiveness, man-servant! Listen here, I’ll let you off the hook this one time, but if you do it again— You’ll be punished. Is that clear-?!”
Oz knew - from the look of her face and the tone of her voice - that Alice wasn’t really telling the truth. She was quite upset and the cause of it was him. She didn’t like to be left alone and he didn’t really enjoy letting her alone either.
“I’m really sorry, I got distracted over a silly thing and let you all by yourself, right? I’m sorry.”; he apologized, holding her hands kindly. “If I take you to eat some meat, would you forgive me for today?
Taken aback by the sudden switch of mood, she widened her eyes as the boy grasped her small, pale fingers within his firm grip. She wanted to yank away, but something inside her refrained her from doing so. The atmosphere, the look on his face— something about this felt really nostalgic to the girl. She just gazed into his deep emerald hues, frowning a bit, tiny tints of crimson still brushing her fair cheeks.

“I might forgive you. If you’re lucky. Don’t even leave me again, do you hear me? Now take me to get some food, servant.”
